One of Hike for Hope's key concerns is the privacy of Internet browsers using our website. We go to great measures to ensure all information collected whilst on this website remains safe and secure in accordance with the with the Privacy Requirements set out on www.privacy.gov.au.

The information HikeForHope.org.au collects about Internet users browsing our website is very limited. No information about users is stored in our database, unless the user is an organiser of a Hike for Hope event. The organisers of the Hike For Hope event needs to communicate with Hike for Hope outside of the internet environment for us to be able to allocate a username and password which allows the organiser to modify their details and upcoming hike's information page.

Once a hike has been completed all information relating to the organiser is removed from our online database. In addition to this the user account is removed to provide added security and privacy to both Hike for Hope and the Hike organiser.

All information collected will only be used for the purpose it was collected. We do not sell or provide personal information to any third party organisations, and protect all information from unauthorised use, or access. All gathered information will not be disclosed without your consent unless required by law or a legal authority.
