The Great South West Hike 4 Hope will be commencing on the 19/3/06 with an evening Youth service at Portland Baptist. Then all those who are feeling fit and ready will take to the Great South West Walk over the next three days.

The plan is to camp at Swan Lake Day 1, after a 20-22km walk along the beach. Day 2 will include more inland scenary with a lunch stop on top of Mt. Richmond and camp back at Swan Lake - approx 35km. Day 3 will include getting transported by vehicle to Shelly's Beach and making our way around Cap Nelson and Point Danger before making our way back into the town of Portland - approx 30km. We will be having an informal BBQ on the 22/3/06 with the Portland Baptists before heading back home early the next morning.

I am really excited to see how God will use his people to display His love for people that are worse off than us. It is amazing how we can offer something back to Him and help out others who need help even if it only makes a difference in a few peoples lives, its all worth it.
